  2. Fly from Johannesburg, Durban or Cape Town to either Hoedspruit (Eastgate Airport), Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) or Skukuza Airport and then arrange a road transfer to the camp.

Note

If you are going to use your GPS for navigation, then please make sure that you approach Manyeleti Game Reserve from R531 (Orpen Road). Sometimes the GPS might provide directions on a more rural road which has quite a lot of potholes so please rather use R531.

Please be advised that the Manyeleti Game Reserve Gate times are 5:30–18:00 (October to February) and 6:00–17:30 (March to September).  Also note that it takes about one hour to travel from the Manyeleti Entrance Gate to Buffelshoek due to the 40 km/hr speed limit in Manyeleti.  From May to August the sun sets at +/- 17:30 so please be sure to enter Manyeleti before 16:00.

Directions From Hoedspruit

  • Drive south on the R40 for 24km, towards White River and turn left at the T-junction (S24°32.425’ E31°01.915’).
  • After 2km turn left on the R531 towards Orpen Gate (S24°33.282’ E31°02.306’).
  • Drive for 35 km and then turn right just before the Kruger National Park boom gate (S24°32.528’ E31°22.318’).
  • From the turn-off the entrance to Manyeleti Game Reserve is 400m (S24°32.557’ E31°22.447’).
  • From here follow the MAIN CAMP signage. Turn right (S24°32.563’ E31°22.538’).
  • Turn left (S24°33.423’ E31°23.403’).
  • Keep right (S24°33.240’ E31°23.599’).
  • Turn right (S24°33.833’ E31°26.925’).
  • Keep left (S24°34.620’ E31°27.034’).
  • Pass the dam and keep right (S24°35.660’ E31°28.448’).
  • 14 km from the Reserve entrance turn right at entrance road to Ndzaka camp (S24°35.786’ E31°28.514’).
  • The camp is 200 metres down this road (S24°35.805’ E31°28.409’).
  • If you get to Manyeleti Main Camp you have missed the turn off to Ndzaka.

Directions From Nelspruit

  • Follow the R40 NORTH through Hazyview, Bushbuck Ridge and Acornhoek and continue in the Hoedspruit direction.
  • 5km after the traffic light at Acornhoek (whilst travelling towards Hoedspruit) turn right on the R531 towards Orpen Gate (S24°33.282’ E31°02.306’).
  • Drive for 35 km and then turn right just before the Kruger National Park boom gate (S24°32.528’ E31°22.318’).
  • From the turn-off the entrance to Manyeleti Game Reserve is 400m (S24°32.557’ E31°22.447’).
  • From here follow the MAIN CAMP signage. Turn right (S24°32.563’ E31°22.538’).
  • Turn left (S24°33.423’ E31°23.403’). Keep right (S24°33.240’ E31°23.599’).
  • Turn right (S24°33.833’ E31°26.925’). Keep left (S24°34.620’ E31°27.034’).
  • Pass the dam and keep right (S24°35.660’ E31°28.448’).
  • 14 km from the Reserve entrance turn right at entrance road to Ndzaka camp (S24°35.786’ E31°28.514’).
  • The camp is 200 metres down this road (S24°35.805’ E31°28.409’).
  • If you get to Manyeleti Main Camp you have missed the turn off to Ndzaka.

Directions From Kruger National Park

  • We suggest that you drive through Orpen Rest Camp and continue south for 7.5 km until you exit Kruger National Park at Border Gate.  Thereafter turn IMMEDIATELY left just after the Kruger National Park boom gate (S24°32.528’ E31°22.318’) and the entrance to Manyeleti Game Reserve is 400m along the road (S24°32.557’ E31°22.447’).

  • From here follow the MAIN CAMP signage. Turn right (S24°32.563’ E31°22.538’).

  • Turn left (S24°33.423’ E31°23.403’). Keep right (S24°33.240’ E31°23.599’).

  • Turn right (S24°33.833’ E31°26.925’).

  • Keep left (S24°34.620’ E31°27.034’).

  • Keep left (S24°34.620’ E31°27.034’).

  • 14 km from the Reserve entrance turn right at entrance road to Ndzhaka camp (S24°35.786’ E31°28.514’).

  • The camp is 200 metres down this road (S24°35.805’ E31°28.409’).
